Renewed Hope Event
FOR:
Widows
Widowers
Disabled
Elderly

Conducted annually around Mother’s Day, Renewed Hope is an event for widows, widowers, elderly and those living with disabilities. The event takes place in two cities - Nkoranza and Kumasi - gathering people who are generally ostracized and unsupported by the community.
The Joy of the Lord Missions provides a hearty meal, monetary and clothing gifts, as well as a health screening during this event. It's a day for everyone to forget their troubles and enjoy the company of others.
The older attendees share their stories and offer advice to uplift the younger ones.
Our team members engage with individuals and encourage them to find hope and love in Jesus.

Our hope is that this event will offer a moment of joy, fosters friendships and a sense of community that extends past our single event and leaves those participating with a renewed sense of belonging.

God's Love in Action Event
FOR:
School aged children from small local villages

Children are the heart and soul of Joy of the Lord Missions.
God's Love in Action is an annual event that brings together all the children in the community and neighbouring villages. What started off as an event with less than 50 kids has grown to well over 5000 kids a day.
This event is held in two cities - Nkoranka and Kumasi - usually around the end of November/beginning of December.
Children are provided transportation, breakfast, lunch and gifts from donations such as candy, toys, clothes and books that our supporters have generously provided.
The event consists of a few games and activities as well as words of encouragement and love. Year after year, many respond to God's word and give their lives to Christ.

This event has been growing year over year as the word spreads. More than ever we need your support and prayers for its continued success!
