Thank you to all who directly supported and prayed for our Renewed Hope event this May. This year's event touched over 6000 participants (widows, widowers, elderly, and those living with disabilities) - that's over 10 times the size of last year's event! We're especially thankful to God for miraculously providing "above what we could ask or think" for this event.

 

One notable story for God's glory is directly related to a shipment of used wheelchairs and walkers donated and gathered from Canada earlier this year. On hearing there was a possibility that some participants might be able to receive a free wheelchair at this year's event, one severely disabled woman journeyed from her home to the event location by (quite literally) rolling from her home to the grounds. Her severe disability prevented her from even crawling but she was determined to make it, even without any help. At the event, Joy Missions was able to gift her with one of the donated wheelchairs. One couldn't adequately describe the tear-filled moments of joy that followed. Another example of how Renewed Hope brought joy to those who need it most, a wife carried her husband to the event due to his disability, and he went home in a wheelchair as well! 

 

We simply cannot understate the impact of your generous donations and the profound effect it has on so many lives.

Our heartfelt "thank you" extends once again to all our donors for the material difference you make in the lives of the underprivileged. May God richly reward you here and in the life to come (Mat 6:20 - "But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven") as you continue to remember the poor!
